The Community Network for People Living with HIV in Kenya (CONPHAK) hosted a community outreach in Kwale County this week, welcoming dozens of new members into the network.

The event brought together community health volunteers, peer educators and county health officials for a day of registration, health talks and one-on-one support sessions. New members were taken through CONPHAK’s services, from treatment-adherence support and peer counselling to referrals for TB screening and non-communicable disease (NCD) care.

“Belonging to a network like CONPHAK reminds you that you are not alone,” one new member shared during the session.

CONPHAK continues to expand its grassroots presence across the coast region, building a community network that is owned and led by the people it serves. New members are welcome to register through any of our community focal persons or by contacting us directly.
